Golden Gui, also known as “Huang-Yen”, is a unique style of oolong tea and another superb tea, made from the young leaves of the Huang-Yen variety of tea trees, because of its soup color is golden and has a peculiar aroma like osmanthus flowers and was named.
Tea volume
Tight hemispherical tea leaves: 1/3-1/4 of the teapot volume
Looser tea leaves: half of the teapot volume
Water temperature Water temperature and time
Water temperature: 85-100℃ is recommended, boiling water can be used for tightly knit teas, while lowering the water temperature for loose teas.
