Authentic Huoshan Yellow Bud
Huoshan yellow bud began in Tang Dynasty, and flourished in Ming and Qing Dynasty. In ancient times, it was known as ‘immortal bud’, and now it is called ‘bud tea’. Although Huoshan Huangya has always been one of the ‘Ten Famous Teas of China’, the traditional Huoshan Huangya technique has long been lost, and the Huoshan Huangya that you can drink now was re-created in 1971, and continues to this day.

Brewing Method
Water temperature: 80-95℃ is recommended, tender tea buds (such as Huoshan yellow buds) can be used around 85℃, some tea lovers think that boiling water can also be brewed.
Tea to water ratio: glass cup brewing recommended 1:30 (such as 3 grams of tea with 100 ml of water), covered bowl brewing can be 1:50 (2 grams of tea with 100 ml of water).
Ware selection:
Glass cups: easy to watch the tea leaves spreading and the colour of the tea broth.
Covered bowl: suitable for controlling the time of soup, the mouth of the bowl needs to be bigger.
