Junshan Silver Needle
Junshan Silver Needle is made from buds, tea buds like a needle, buds strong, uniform length, tea body full of hairs, inside the orange-yellow colour, wrapped in a layer of white hairs, known as ‘gold and jade’. Junshan Silver Needle began in the Tang Dynasty called ‘yellow plume’, because the tea leaves are full of velvet hair, the bottom of the golden colour, after brewing like a yellow feather like the roots of the vertical and so named.

Brewing Method
Water temperature: 80-90℃ is recommended, and 80-85℃ is suitable for tender bud tea (such as Junshan Silver Needle) to avoid high temperature destroying the fresh taste.
Tea to water ratio: recommended 1:50 for gaiwan (e.g. 3 grams of tea with 150ml of water), 1:30 for glass cups (3 grams of tea with 100ml of water)
Utensil selection Transparent glass cups: easy to watch the tea leaves spreading and the tea dance of ‘three ups and three downs’.
Covered bowl: suitable for controlling the time of soup, the mouth of the bowl needs to be bigger.
